Dongari
동아리
The homepage for student communities. On Dongari, each community can create beautiful profiles that showcase their unique culture, projects, and achievements. More than a bland Facebook page, we’ve designed Dongari to be a place for students to match with new people and hobbies, because speaking from experience, the right student club can make or break your entire college experience.
Some project pointers:
Clubs build their homepage through prompts like “what’s your group anthem” or “how would you describe your club in a meme”, so building a profile is as quick and simple as filling out a questionnaire, but maybe just a little more fun.
We help freshmen find the right club for them by allowing them to browse (or shuffle) through a virtual club fair.
Students can discover new events and competitions through a unified extracurricular directory. It’s ridiculous how large recurring student events are still hosted on Facebook, but organizers then create new pages every year.
It’s free. No more Wix and Squarespace!
We don’t really appreciate just how many student clubs there are in the world. One day we’ll count them all, but just for reference, University of Tokyo has 250+ clubs, University of Toronto has 800+ clubs, Stanford University has 600+ clubs. Some companies like Notion and Discord have caught on to these numbers and have started to offer services and discounts specifically targeted to student clubs.
Our goal is to replace rusty enterprise campus experience solutions like Anthology and CampusGroups.
Dongari (동아리) is the Korean word for "student club".
